Rabbits and more rabbits

This week we had our first Tailgate Market in Historic Marion.
What fun! We sold all the honey we had pulled and so we had to of course find more honey.
We did , so there will be pints for $8.00 and half pints for $4.00. Our eggs will be there as well for $2.50 ea. We will have salad greens freshly picked that day and flower arrangements.
We do have a reserve going on our rabbits an have sold and are down to nine left for sale as either pets, for breeding, or meat rabbits.
Rabbit is the "new white meat" . Rabbit is good any way  you cook it. We sell our rabbits vacuum sealed with a label of origin, date of harvest, expire date and address info. There are recipes with said  rabbit as well. Our rabbit sells for $7.00 a lb. and can be delivered in the local area fresh.
Otherwise the squash in the garden is coming in, the beans, corn and other veggies are looking good.
We do look forward to seeing you all there next Tuesday at the market!
